"There's no life without growth." I met Cliff 10 years ago through a friend in the zen Buddhism community. Cliff's perspective on feeling life rather than intellectualizing it, had a lasting impact on me in my teenage years.  After revisiting hours of old interviews we did in high school, I decided to film with Cliff again with a focus the relationship between his metal work and Zen Buddhism.

Cliff's dedication to broadening his senses and feeling the world more deeply even when dealing with the grief of losing his father and, more recently, his heart condition has truly been an inspiration to me and my work.
